Apolis (uh–paul–is) means “global citizen.”

The last few weeks have been extraordinary. After mudslides devastataed the Santa Barbara community of Montecito (the town my brother Raan and I grew up in), Apolis held a special fundraiser, selling limited-edition SB Cause Relief versions of our market bag. 100% of sales went directly to help families affected by this disaster.
We’ve seriously been so amazed and encouraged by people’s generous response.
Not only did the Apolis community participate in force on January 14th, they also requested we extend the fundraiser date to include another day. Thankfully, we were able to rush in more bags to enable an additional fundraiser day this last Sunday, January 28th.
We’re happy to say that in total, you helped us raise over $30,000 for relief, which goes straight to the Santa Barbara non-profit Direct Relief, helping them equip emergency responders and community healthcare organizations with medicine, tetanus vaccines, and protective gear, in addition to providing financial assistance to mudslide victims.
We’ve said it before, and we'll say it again: your generosity, ongoing prayers, and heartfelt concern mean so much to us. We feel humbled and grateful that we get to partner with people like you in seeking to use business to benefit communities around the world, including the town we grew up in. On behalf of our family and the people of Montecito — thank you.
