We're excited about our brand-new collection of Apolis + Clare V. Tout Va Bien Market Bags! Read below on our 2014 speaking series event at our LA flagship (currently under renovation) with Clare and moderated by Vanity Fair's senior West Coast editor, Krista Smith.

Since we opened the doors of Apolis: Common Gallery, our first regionally-branded Apolis retail space in November 2011, we’ve hosted regular Global Citizen gatherings and recently we started our speaking series. The goal of our speaking series is to invite industry leaders to share their perspective on how their profession impacts and fosters community.
On August 27, we were proud to host the fourth installment of our free community speaking series at Apolis: Common Gallery. In July we became CFDA members, along with Clare Vivier, and thought it would be a fun opportunity to ask Vanity Fair's senior West Coast editor, Krista Smith, to moderate a forum with the three of us about how design has the unique ability to impact community.
Krista sparked a 30-minute discussion with insightful questions of her own and spontaneous questions from the audience and social media. The evening concluded with a surprise from Clare: her best-selling and limited-edition Grande Pochette in five colors, with an exclusive monogram of Apolis' "global citizen" slogan in French, citoyen du monde. Clare was kind enough to include with each of the clutches a handwritten note on her in-house stationery. Special thanks to the 250-plus guests who joined us and our friends from Heirloom LA, Pharmacie, and Civil Coffee for helping with the hospitality.
We hope you will join us for our next event at Apolis: Common Gallery that we will announce soon. Contact our Service Manager, Danny Quesada, for a personal invite once details for our next event are finalized.
