At Apolis, we begin our design process by hand selecting textiles from around the world and pairing them with artisans who share our uncompromising passion for craftsmanship and people.  We are glad to release our new Standard Issue looks, a series of utilitarian garments that emphasize fit and fabrication, all made in the United States of America. These items are inspired by American heritage essentials which lead us to develop a limited edition collaboration with local California manufacturer, Heritage Leather. We sourced an exclusive, deadstock tan 18.5 oz waxed twill cotton and combined it with Heritage's timeless mason bag silhouette to create the ideal addition to our Uniform assortment. Due to the limited nature of this particular fabric we have only been able to produce 35 units.

In 2000, longtime leather workers and colleagues, Jose Munoz and Gustavo Gonzalez joined forces and founded Heritage Leather Co., a company committed to quality, service and customer satisfaction. The combined work history of their staff is equivalent to 240 years experience in designing and manufacturing leather products. In keeping with their commitment to providing personal service, Gustavo, photographed below, gave me a tour of their California factory and introduced me to their team. The quality of their needle work is inspiring and the precision is impeccable.
