We recently journeyed west across Los Angeles from our Arts District headquarters to Brentwood in order to share a coffee with our good friend and FARMSHOP Chef-Owner Jeff Cerciello. We first met Jeff, and sampled his culinary genius, at the opening of the Monocle store and have since had the privilege of featuring FARMSHOP at multiple Apolis: Common Gallery events including Alfredo Rodriguez’ album release and Kinfolk’s Los Angeles dinner. Jeff is a California native whose passion for the culinary arts (encompassing a degree from the Culinary Institute of America and Culinary Director of the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group) is merged with his dedication to the dynamic bounty of California at FARMSHOP LA, located in the Brentwood Country Mart and the highly anticipated FARMSHOP Marin, to open in the Marin Country Mart in early 2013.

The early inspiration for FARMSHOP’s market and restaurant ethos was to showcase the very best in culinary products produced by artisans throughout California in an atmosphere of community, integrity and generosity of spirit. The restaurant embraces a strong seasonal, market-driven cooking approach, sourcing the best ingredients and products to prepare inspired dishes with a dedication to quality and attention to detail. The artisanal marketplace is thoughtfully curated with an array of organic, sustainable and locally produced items and a passionate, knowledgeable staff to offer friendly and honest service.
