Over the next 12+ months, the LA Arts District building which has been home to Apolis: Common Gallery since we opened over five years ago will be undergoing renovations. We're excited for the landlord's plans to build a rooftop bar and add some exceptional new neighbors, and we're looking forward to moving back into the space once renovations are complete.
In the meantime, we're happy to announce that we'll have an Apolis pop-up shop just 100 yards down the street, at 826 E. Third Street. The pop-up will be located within our sister store Alchemy Works, in a space shared with eyewear brand Warby Parker and right next door to the delightful European-style espresso bar Blacktop Coffee.
We really want every Apolis retail space to serve a local purpose, which is why we're excited that this pop-up is so close to our regular location, enabling us to continue to engage with the local community which has meant so much to us through the years. We love that both Alchemy Works and Warby Parker provide a valuable benefit to the community, hosting engaging events and offering useful everyday products. And Blacktop Coffee — well, we'd heartily recommend hanging out on Blacktop's front patio and enjoying a coffee paired with Blacktop's avocado toast.
Below are some images of the new pop-up. Next time you're passing through LA's Arts District, stop by and visit us inside Alchemy Works — we'd love to show you our new space!
